The Junior Woman’s Club Annual Golf Tournament provides a unique opportunity for local residents to give back to their community in a fun and leisurely fashion. The funds raised, through player participation, raffle ticket sales and business sponsorships, provide support to organizations whose future existence is threatened due to limited resources. We are proud to say that the funds raised help support much needed organizations that benefit our community.

Since the inception of this event, the Junior Woman’s Club has raised over $20,000. Annually, the proceeds of this event are allocated to local charities.

Past recipients include:

  • Thomason Hospital
  • Pediatric Unit
  • The Child Advocacy Center
  • The El Paso City-County Nutrition Home Delivered Meals Program
  • Reach for a Star Foundation
  • The Child Crisis Center

Golf Tournament Hole Sponsorships

Are you interested in promoting your company? By becoming a Hole Sponsor you are given an opportunity to advertise your company at our tournament. With your donation of $100.00, your company’s name will appear on a sign that is placed near a hole on the course. This is an excellent way to advertise, as well as show your support for the charity benefiting from the proceeds of the event!

Annual Golf Tournament

In 2001, the Junior Woman’s Club kicked-off a “Sports Night” spring fundraiser. Following two successful years, the event evolved into our Annual Golf Tournament. The tournament provides a unique opportunity for local residents to give back to the community in a fun and leisurely fashion. The funds raised, through player participation, raffle and business sponsorship, provide support to organizations whose future existence is threatened due to limited resources.

Proceeds from each year’s event has been allocated to the following El Paso service agencies:

  • 2001 – La Posada Home
  • 2002 – Thomason Hospital Pediatric Unit
  • 2003-2005 – Reach for a Star Foundation
  • 2006 – El Paso City-County Nutrition – Home Delivered Meals Program
  • 2007 – Various local charities

Registration for this 4-man scramble is only $100 per player, and includes green fees, golf cart, goody bag, golf shirt, breakfast, drinks, lunch and a door prize ticket. Team registrations will be accepted up until the day of the event.
